Personal data collected by the notary office may be shared only in the following circumstances:
- With public bodies and regulatory entities, when required by law;
- With the National Protest Central System (CENPROT), as required by notary service regulations;
- With the data subject themselves, upon formal request;
- With third parties by court order.

The Notary Office adopts adequate technical and administrative measures to ensure the security of stored personal data, including:

- Secure storage in accordance with the standards of the National Corregedoria of Justice;

Data related to protests are maintained according to the deadlines established in specific legislation:
- 10-year period for protest records;
- 3-year period for protest protocol books.

- Solicitar a eliminação de dados excessivos ou tratados em desconformidade com a LGPD;

Solicitações podem ser feitas diretamente no cartório, mediante requerimento formal e apresentação de documento de identificação.
